License types explained

Solo, Team, and Extended — what each license covers, what it doesn't, and how to upgrade.

Every product is sold under one of three license tiers. The product page shows which tiers are available.

Solo License

  • Use on one project or product.

  • Use it for internal or commercial purposes.

  • Modify the code freely.

  • Cannot redistribute the source as-is or in a substantially similar form.

Best for: a single side-project or a small startup's first build.

Team License

  • Use on multiple projects within one organization.

  • All your team members can read, modify, and ship with the codebase.

  • Same redistribution rules as Solo.

Best for: a product company building several internal tools or product lines.

Extended License

  • Use on client work — including building products you'll deliver to clients.

  • Reseller scenarios are allowed when the source isn't shipped as-is.

  • Same redistribution rules as Solo for the source itself.

Best for: design and development agencies.

Upgrading later

If you start on Solo and outgrow it, email support@creative-cape.com with your order number — we'll send a discounted upgrade invoice for the price difference.
